Abstract:
Polylacrylamide (PAM) microspheres were prepared by reverse suspension polymerization, and then the composite Ag/PAM microspheres loaded with silver nanoparticles were obtained by silver mirror reaction with formaldehyde as reductant in atmosphere. The composition and morphology of the composite microspheres were investigated by SEM, XRD and TGA, respectively. The results indicated that the surface of composite microspheres has uniform pattern morphology with PAM microgel core and silver shell structure. Additionally, the composite microspheres have internal hydrophilicity and external hydrophobicity characters. The loading quantity of silver nanoparticles on PAM microspheres is about 8.52%.
