The identification methods analysis and empirical studies of tourism industry spatial agglomeration

Abstract:
Based on summarizing and concluding the tourism industry spatial agglomeration identification methods, the test process of tourism industry spatial agglomeration research was constructed. Taking Bohai Rim region as an example, the spatial agglomeration degree of tourism industry was measured using the location entropy index and industrial spatial agglomeration index. The results show tourism industry in Bohai Rim region exist agglomeration in spatial, but with unbalance within the region. It is identified that the economic development of Bohai Rim region has a relatively high correlation with the agglomeration of tourism industry among different sectors, indicating that tourism industry can drive the economic development of Bohai Rim region to some extent.
