The features analysis of the design and sound field of multifunctional concert halls

Abstract:
Based on the acoustical design of Shaanxi Normal University multifunctional Concert Hall, the two kinds of application types “concert hall mode” and “theater mode” are established. The designers adopt fine diffusion of sound field and elegant decorative art, combining with well-designed amplification system and perfect speaker system. The acoustic analysis on the scene shows that the theater has a good diffuse sound field and the sound field distribution is even. Also the analysis shows that the frequency curve of the indoor reverberation time is flat with its standard deviation ± 0.06s. The sound amplification can meet with the highest standard. So far, a great number of performances have been held here, and the results are very satisfactory.
