Abstract:
Based on the temperature data in Xi′an city from 1959 to 2009 and the domestic electric consumption data in Xi′an city from 1988 to 2007, the character of temperature change and domestic electric consumption change were analyzed using mathematical statistical analysis method, and the correlation between temperature electric and temperature were studied by temperature electric consumption partial correlation coefficient analysis method. Further, the effects of temperature change on urban domestic electric consumption were discussed. The conclusions were as follow : (1)The temperature of Xi′an city in recent 50 years has the same trend to global temperature, and it is becoming warm.(2) The domestic electric consumption increased rapidly in the last 20 years, however, the increase of urban domestic electric consumption was greater than the rural domestic electric consumption. (3)Temperature electric consumption of Xi′an city presents positive-negative fluctuation, which approximates to “double M” pattern; however, the absolute percentage of temperature role shows a decreasing tendency. (4) Urban domestic electric consumption is susceptive to the change of temperature. Urban temperature change domestic electric consumption is negatively correlated with the mean temperature of January, and the partial correlation coefficient is -0.588. It is positively correlated with the mean temperature of July, and the partial correlation coefficient is 0.363.In other words, summer warming made domestic electric consumption increase, otherwise winter warming made it decrease.
