Abstract:
To study the antioxidation effect in vivo of flavonoids from Caulis Polygoni Multiflori (FCPM), ICR mices were randomly divided into 4 group(stomach irritation with high/middle/low FCPM and salineonly), contents malondialdehyde(MDA), enzyme activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD) and glutathione peroxidase(GSH-PX) in the serum, liver/brain and enzyme activities of Catalase (CAT) in the serum, liver of ICR mice were measured by reagent box. The results showed that FCPM can significantly increase the activity of SOD/GSH-PX in the serum, liver/brain and increase the activity of CAT in the serum/liver, decrease the contents of MDA in the serum and the organs. FCPM can improve antioxidation ability in vivo and balance the state of antioxidation/oxidation.
