Abstract:
This paper deals with five species of Tetrigoidea from Huangshan area, Which belongs in 3 families, among them, one species is described as new to science. Type specimina are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Shaanxi Normal University.Tetrix gibbosa sp. nov. , this new species is allied to Tetrix weishanensis Zheng et Mao, 2002 and Tetrix simulans (B.-Bienko, 1920). It differs from both in: 1) anterior margin of vertex straight; 2) upper margin of pronotum spherical in profile; 3) hind process of pronotum reaching two third of hind femur; 4) hind wing short, reaching basal one third of hind femur. It differs from the former in: 1) width of vertex 1.5 times than that of an eye; 2) humeral angle arc; 3) top of hind process sharp rounded.Length of body: ♂8~8.2 mm;Length of pronotum: ♂6.8~7 mm;Length of hind femur: ♂6~6,3 mm.Holotype ♂, Anhui: Huangshan, 118°2′E, 30°1′N, 20-V-2010, collecte by Zha Lingsheng; paratype 1♂, same data as holotype.Etymology: The specific name is derived from the Latin “gibbosus”.
