啁啾脉冲在二能级介质中的传播效应

摘要:
在一级微扰近似下,研究了弱啁啾脉冲光场与二能级系统的相互作用,分析了驱动场在这种二能级介质中的传播过程.给出光场与二能级系统相互作用的密度矩阵方程,利用一级微扰近似得到密度矩阵方程的解.由光场传播的波动方程得到信号场振幅所满足的方程,取一级近似得到传播方程的解析表述,给出介质中极化强度随时间的震荡过程和啁啾光场在二能级介质中的干涉效应.结果表明:信号场与输入场之间会发生干涉现象.

Propagation effect of chirped pulse in two-level system medium

Abstract:
The interaction between a chirped laser pulse and a two-level atomic system is studied under the first order perturbation theory and the propagation process of driven field in two-level medium is analyzed. At first, the density matrix equation of interaction between optic field and two-level system is presented and its approximate solution is obtained by using first order perturbation approximation. Then, the signal amplitude equation is derived from the propagation wave equation, the analytic expession of propagation equation is obtained by using first order aprroximation on the signal amplitude equation. It is shown that the interference between the input field and the signal field occurs.
