Abstract:
Based on the temperature and precipitation data from 1958 to 2007, the differences in climate change between southern and northern Qinling Mountains were analyzed . The results revealed that the general trend of climate appeared to be warmer and drier in the past 50 years. The annual mean temperature rose and the annual precipitation decreased. The abrupt change of annual mean temperature in Guanzhong region happened in the year of 1990, and the abrupt change of mean temperature in autumn and winter appeared in 2000 and 1993; On the other hand, the annual precipitation abrupt change occurred in 1985-1986, and autumn precipitation abrupt change occurred in 1976, but it was not obvious in winter. In Shaannan region, the year of 1998 and 2003 are the abrupt change years of annual mean temperature. Autumn temperature abrupt change happened in 2000, and the abrupt change of mean temperature of winter appeared in 1995-1997. The precipitation abrupt change year of annual, autumn and winter are 1990-1991, 1985-1986 and 2000,separately. The conclusions are as follows: Due to global climate change and regional human activities, the climate abrupt change in Guanzhong region came earlier than that in Shaannan region. The precipitation abrupt change came earlier than that of temperature in both southern and northern Qinling Mountains. The related reasons remain to be further discussed, nevertheless, it inspired us.
