Abstract:
By introducing the infrared radiation power of the target into the infrared search and tracking system (IRST) , the IRST is became measurable. On which a observable model of the target is set up and the unscented particle filter(UPF) is used for maneuvering target tracking. The performance of the algorithm is verified by simulating a highly maneuvering target tracking. The result shows that compared with the extended kalman filter(EKF), the root-mean-square error (RMSE) of UPF is less than EKF 300 m, and robustness is better than that of the EKF.In addition, after highly maneuvering target tracking, the convergence rate of UPF is quicker than that of the EKF.
