基于UPF的红外机动目标跟踪算法

摘要:
利用红外探测器对目标红外辐射的响应信息进行处理,使得红外搜索与跟踪(Infrared Search and Tracking,IRST)系统成为一个距离可观测系统,建立了目标的观测模型,推导出机动目标跟踪的不敏粒子滤波(Unscented Particle Filter ,UPF)跟踪算法.通过跟踪一个高机动目标的仿真过程,对算法性能进行验证,并与扩展卡尔曼滤波(Extended Kalman Filter,EKF)跟踪算法进行比较.仿真结果表明:UPF算法的跟踪误差比EKF算法的跟踪误差小300 m左右,鲁棒性好,同时经过高机动周期后,UPF的收敛速度比EKF快.

Infrared maneuvering target tracking Base on UPF

Abstract:
By introducing the infrared radiation power of the target into the infrared search and tracking system (IRST) , the IRST is became measurable. On which a observable model of the target is set up and the unscented particle filter(UPF) is used for maneuvering target tracking. The performance of the algorithm is verified by simulating a highly maneuvering target tracking.The result shows that compared with the extended kalman filter(EKF), the root-mean-square error (RMSE) of UPF is less than EKF 300 m, and robustness is better than that of the EKF.In addition, after highly maneuvering target tracking, the convergence rate of UPF is quicker than that of the EKF.
