Abstract:
The developing process and practice of Journal of Shaanxi Normal University (Natural Science Edition) since 1960 were reviewed, the relationships among journal, subject construction and personnel training were analyzed, and the article numbers of core authors was added up. The top 24 authors published 350 and 738 papers in the journal as the first author and co-author, and accounting for 11.05% and 23.30% of the total 3 168 papers, respectively. Through using CNKI database, cited and download frequency of papers in the journal were calculated. The highest cited and download frequency of single paper are 98 and 671, respectively; the papers with high cited and download frequency are devoted to mathematics, applied acoustics, biology, tourism geography, materials science and so on. The influence of the journal enhanced continuously and stridden into the advanced ranks of comprehensive natural science and technical journals in China. The journal has made great historic contribution to strengthen subject construction, spread the scientific research outputs, propagandize subject advantage and feature, improve the academic influence, train personnel and promote academic intercommunication for Shaanxi Normal University.
