Abstract:
To isolate some chitinase-producing microorganisms with anti-fungal strains and salt tolerance for the biological-control, 16 soil samples, collected from the Yellow Sea coast of Lianyungang, Yuncheng salt lake, Qinghai Lake and Chaka Salt Lake,China, used as maerix, 174 bacterias strains using chitin as carbon and nitrogen source, 82 actinomyces strains and 60 fungis strains were isolated. The inhibition of the samples to the phytopathogenic fungi was also investigated. The results showed that 24 bacterias strains,7 actinomyces strains and 26 fungis strains have significantly inhibitive effect on the growth of Fusarium oxysporum. The chitinase activity was determined by the method of DNS (3,5-dinitrosalicylic acid). Chitinase activity of 8 bacterial strains was higher than 167×10-9mol/s. 38 bacteria strains with inhibiting board more than 6 mm and chitinase activity≥1.11×10-9 mol/s were selected for salt-tolerance experiment. The results indicated that 13 strains are of salt-tolerant bacterium and 25 strains are of extreme salt-tolerant bacterium.
