Abstract:
The PLAs with linear-chain(PLLA) and star-shape (SPLLA) structure were directly synthesized using L-latic acid as row material, SnCl2 as catalyst, pentaerythritol as initiator under inert nitrogen atmosphere with microwave radiation. The synthesized product has high viscosity-average molecular weight and glass transition temperature. The results also showed that the color of the product lighten with increasing the flow rate of the inert gas. The synthetic conditions were finally optimized. Polymers were structurally characterized by FT-IR and 13C NMR techniques and also analyzed by GPC and DSC. MDA results showed that SPLLA has a smaller strain, faster recovery of shape, and SPLLA is more suitable than PLLA in medical used as bone substeitute.
