Abstract:
The membrane theory is used to analyze the vibration characteristic of a specific type and radial polarized piezoelectric cylindrical tube transducer. The characteristic of radial and longitudinal displacement and the equivalent circuit of lumped parameters of different vibration types are derived. Finally, the mode of radial and longitudinal vibration are analyzed by using the finite element method, and the resonance and anti-resonance frequencies are obtained. It is showed that theoretical values basically agree with that of finite element analysis, which suggests some rules for engineering design and calculation of cylindrical tube transducer.
