Analysis on the change and trend of the distribution pattern of land ranks in the center of Xi′an city

Abstract:
The distribution pattern of land ranks in the center of Xi′an city since 1992 and its developing trend were analyzed by using methods of documentation and comparison. It showed that (1)The distribution pattern of land ranks in 1993 in Xi′an city was similar to that in 1997, which was not thorough “concentric circles”, while it became “regional types” in 2005. (2)The distribution pattern of land ranks in future in Xi′an city will become multiple-core circle level structure, at the same time, beaded structure and some high-level enclaves will appear. (3) The layout change of Xi′an city influences the distribution pattern of land ranks of Xi′an city and its developing trend to a large extent.
