Abstract:
In order to research the physiological mechanism of GA3 and NO in contents redistribution of cell, the basal part of garlic scape was treated with GA3, SNP, GA3+ L-NAME,GA3+ Na2WO4, GA3+ HB for three hours, respectively. The resulting samples were air dried and then stored at 4℃. The diameter of garlic bulbet, the content of total soluble sugar, antioxidant enzyme activity and other indices were measured regularly. The result indicated that the diameter of garlic bulbet,the activities of POD and CAT, membrane permeability,the content of soluble sugar in the basal part of garlic scape were inhibited by GA3 and SNP,respectively. The activities of SOD and APX in the garlic scape and the activities of POD and CAT in the apical part of garlic scape were promoted by treatment of GA3 and SNP. If eliminated or suppressed NO in any way could affect GA3 and SNP, so GA3 may restraint the redistribution of nutrients transport by NO.
