Abstract:
The regional difference of Tibet′s agricultural economy plays an important role in economic development and social stability. The components and evolution of economic development gap of Tibetan agriculture are quantitatively analyzed by using Theil coefficient. It shows that the value of economic disparities of animal husbandry is less than that of farming, and it slows down among countries, which is opposite to farming. Through dividing the Tibet autonomous region with three regions and administrative divisions, the agricultural economic differences are the same between two spatial scales in Tibet, but both of regional and inter-regional differences vary greatly. The coupling of farming and animal husbandry can enhance the resilience of agricultural economic risk. Based on the balanced agricultural development among countries, a few suggestions in order to reduce the agricultural economic disparities in Tibet are finally put forward.
