Thermodynamical property of the harmonic oscillator with electrical charge in the electric field under high temperature and weak degeneration

Abstract:
Based on the semiclassical statistical theory proposed by Thomas-Fermi, the quantum state density of the two-dimension electrified harmonic oscillator in weak external electrical field is derived, the analytical formulas of chemical potential, internal energy and heat capacity under the condition of high temperature and weak degeneration are obtained. The results show that weak external electrical field has effect on the thermodynamic property of the electrified harmonic oscillator system.
