Abstract:
The torsional vibration of isotropic thin elastic circular ring with conical section is studied and the equivalent circuit is obtained. Based on the equivalent circuit, the resonance frequency equation, the expression of resonance frequency and the angular displacement amplitude magnification are obtained. The solutions of the resonance frequency equation and the angular displacement amplitude magnification are solved by numerical method. The fitted curve of frequencies and external radiuses is analyzed, and the fitted curve between the angular displacement amplitude magnifications and the ratios of external diameter to inner diameter is established, the maximal angular displacement amplitude magnification is obtained from the fitted curve. It is showed that the theoretical values basically agree with the simulation results of finite element analysis, which suggests some rules for engineering design and calculations of annular plate concentrator with conical section.
