Abstract:
Wetland eco-tourism is still in the emerging development stage in China. It will become one of the hot topics in tourism study. Based on the analysis of major study results about wetland eco-tourism in China in the past decades, the concepts of wetland eco-tourism, main contents and eco-tourism of wetland park are summarized, and some limitations which include concept definition, research methods, research perspectives are put forward. So three aspects of wetland eco-tourism study, which are wetland eco-tourism assessment, wetland eco-tourism environment carrying capacity and community participation in the wetland eco-tourism must be expanded in future.
