Abstract:
A detailed study on Qualitative Analysis written by Hirano Ikkan was reported. Important chemical principles such as chemical reaction rate, deposition, chemical activity of metals were pointed in this textbook. Negative ions and positive ions of inorganic compound also have been sorted. The chemical reaction principles such as brown ring test, doulble decomposition reaction and disproportionation reaction were appeared in the Qualitative Analysis. This textbook written by Hirano Ikkan had a great contribution to the development of Japan qualitative chemistry.
