Abstract:
As a T-type four-terminal network, the rear bolt of a transducer is regarded as a part of electro-mechanical equivalent circuit of transducer, the frequency equation of the sandwich piezoelectric ultrasonic transducer is derived by using analytical method, the effect of physical dimension of the bolt and the nut on the resonance frequency, the anti-resonance frequency and the effective electro-mechanical coupling coefficient are analyzed. The results show that when the length and diameter of the bolt and the nut are changed,the resonance frequency, anti-resonance frequency and the effective electro-mechanical coupling coefficient are changed also. Based on the reasonable choose of diameter of bolt and nut, the optimization of the transducer is obtained when the length of bolt is half of the length of front cover.
