Investigation of the tourist behavior of female professionals: case study with Xi′an

Abstract:
The female professionals market is regarded as the most potential tourist market because of its strong purchasing power. But female professional′s tourist behavior has not been studied systematically. Based on the information of questionnaires and group enquiry, this article studies the female professional′s tourist motivations,source of tourism information , tourist preference( time, destination, vehicle, partner ) and influence factors of destination selecting,in order to find the characteristics of the female professional′s tourist behavior. The results concluded several tourist behavior characteristics and propose some recommendations of developing the female professionals market.
