Λ型三能级系统中的光信息存储与提取

摘要:
以光子回波技术原理为基础,应用密度矩阵数值解和布洛赫矢量解析法,分析了Λ型三能级系统中实现光信息存储、提取的物理机制.结果表明,该方法对信息的存储时间、信息提取信号的大小均优于二能级系统.

Storage and restoration of optical information in a Λ-three-level system

Abstract:
According to the principle of the photon echoes, the physical mechanism of the light information storage and restoration is investigated and discussed by numerical calculation with density matrix equation and analytic method with Bloch vectors in a Λ-three-level system. It is shown that not only the information storage time but the magnitude of information restoration signal are better than what are carried out in a two-level system.
