Abstract:
A kind of improved flexural vibrating plate is put forward based on the analyzing of vibration characteristics. The radiation pressure and directional formulation of the first vibration mode are calculated by use of Rayleigh-integration, the directional pattern in free boundary is plotted with the help of computer. Comparing the directional pattern with that of the flexural circular thin plate, the result shows that improved flexural vibrating plate′s axial radiation pressure is not zero, and its directional pattern is sharper. Moreover, this study provides a theoretical calculation basis for design and practical applications of this kind of flexural vibrating plate.
