Abstract:
Based on the meteorological observation data and the vegetation index data in Yulin, synchronousness relationship of vegetation index and sandstorm activities were analyzed, the results indicates that, Intra-annual changes of vegetation covers and sandstorm activities are evidently inverse synchronous, which may conduce to reducing the wind-break and sand-fixing function of vegetation. Interannual variations of sandstorm days and vegetation index form inverse relationship, which confirms the ecological function of vegetation. By using the grey correlation model, to measure the synchronousness of vegetation covers and sandstorm days, as a result, the index of intra-annual and interannual synchronousness is 0.615 and 0.540.
