Abstract:
The security demands of ad hoc networks are discussed in this paper, a comprehensive, top-down, end-to-end security architecture for ad hoc networks is then proposed. The architecture includes basic security based on the ECC(ADHOC-ECDSA),one-hop security using both authentication and auto-configuration,and multi-hop security with both improved the ADHOC-ECDSA routing algorithm and cross-layer intrusion detection mechanism. A detailed description of functionality and security in each layer is presented.
