Abstract:
The fluorescence properties of dipyridamole were studied in acidic, neutral and basic medium. It was found that the fluorescence intensity of dipyridamole in basic medium is the strongest among the media we studied. Based on the phenomena, a simple and sensitive fluorometric method for determination of dipyridamole was developed. The linear range of this method was 1.0×10-9~1.0×10-7 g/mL, and the detection limit was 3.0×10-10 g/mL. Furthermore, the fluorescence quantum yields of dipyridamole in various media were measured in order to explain the phenomena.
