Abstract:
The polyimide / silica-barium titanate nanocomposites have been successfully synthesized by a dispersion polymerization method. The morphology, structure and size of the polyimide / silica-barium titanate nanocomposites were investigated by using FT-IR, XRD and TEM. The results indicated that silica-bariumtitanate nanocomposite surface is covered by a thin-layer polymer, the layer thickness is about 10 nm, and the shape of nanocomposite partials is nearly spherical. The crystal structure of BaTiO3 is stable during preparation of narocomposite particles and the chemical bond forms between the inorganic phases and the polymer matrix.
