Abstract:
The Ba0.6Sr0.4TiO3/MgO/Mg2SiO4 composite ceramics with equivalent weight MgO and Mg2SiO4 are prepared by a standard electronic ceramic processing. The effects of the concentration of MgO and Mg2SiO4 on the microstructures, dielectric properties and tunability of Ba0.6Sr0.4TiO3/MgO/Mg2SiO4 ceramic composites are investigated. With the increase of the concentrations of MgO and Mg2SiO4, the relative dielectric constant, dielectric loss, tunability and temperature coefficient of dielectric constant at low frequency (100 kHz) decrease, and the grain size increases slightly. With the increase of applied electric field, the relative dielectric constant decreases gradually and dielectric loss has a slightly change at the grade of 10-3.When the concentrations of MgO and Mg2SiO4 are 30 wt% respectively, the relative dielectric constant (εr=101.6),dielectric loss (tanδ=0001 7), tunability 12.19% (1.79 kV/ mm) and temperature coefficient of dielectric constant (0.009 ℃-1) could be obtained.
