Abstract:
The research was to measure SOD and CAT activity, GSH-Px activity, MDA amount and ATPase activity in the skeletal muscle tissues of the rats in the exhaustive exercise training. The effects of astragalus complanatus on metabolism of free radicals, ATPase activity in the skeletal muscles of the exhaustive exercise training rats and the exercising performance of the rats were discussed. The results show: (1) Compared with quiet group, SOD, CAT and GSH-Px activities of the exhaustive exercise training group decrease, whereas MDA amount increases. The skeletal muscles of the rats in astragalus complanatus group are much more active than those of the rats in compared group. MDA amount is obviously lower than that of compared group (P
