Abstract:
A stronger post-chemiluminescence (PCL) reaction was observed when sulpiride was injected into the mixture of Ce(Ⅳ)-sodium sulfite chemiluminescence (CL) reaction system. According to this, a new flow injection CL method for determination of sulpiride was established. A possible mechanism for the PCL reaction was discussed via the studies of kinetic characteristics, the CL spectra, the UV absorption spectra and the fluorescence spectra. The relative standard deviation (RSD) for determination of sulpiride was 1.6% (n=11, c=1.0×10-6g/mL). The PCL intensity responded linearly to the concentration of sulpiride in the range 1.0×10-7~1.0×10-5g/mL with a linear correlation of 0.9991. The detection limit was 3×10-8g/mL. The method had been applied to determination of sulpiride in the tablets.
