Construction and measurement of evaluation index system for tourism development and utilization of intangible cultural heritage commodities

Abstract:
The tourism development of intangible cultural heritage commodities is a trend of activating and utilizing intangible cultural heritage and also means of reshaping locality, producing economic benefits and releasing social benefits. In this study, the AHP method was used to establish the evaluation index system of the tourism development as well as the utilization of intangible cultural heritage commodities and the weight of each level of the index system was also determined. The tourism development and utilization level of 6 types of intangible cultural heritage commodities in Xi′an Qujiang Great Tang All Day Mall were measured. The results showed that the tourism development and utilization level of 6 types of intangible cultural heritage commodities were high. The 6 types are folk embroidery, paper cutting, Qinqiang facial makeup, clay sculpture, shadow play and xibaomeng and their indexes are 86.04, 85.80, 85.49, 84.23, 84.22 and 83.67 respectively.Based on the 24 subjective questions in the index system, the IPA method was used to divide the importance and satisfaction interval of intangible cultural heritage tourism commodities. The model was also used to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of intangible cultural heritage tourism commodities and corresponding management suggestions were provided as well.
