The results show that among the types of farmers′ livelihood strategy in Huangling county, both farmers and nonfarmers are the main body, and the development of society and economy has changed the structure of farmers′ livelihood strategy. The spatial distribution of farmers with different livelihood strategies is different, and the economic income structure of farmers with the same livelihood strategy is similar to that of farmers with different livelihood strategies. The degree of farmers′ planting diversification shows a downward trend, and the planting type is gradually simplified. Land transfer has a great impact on farmers′ choice of livelihood strategy. After land transfer, farmers are most likely to choose nonfarmers′ livelihood strategy. The livelihood type of farmers engaged in concurrent work in Huangling county is the main livelihood strategy chosen by farmers in the near future, increasing economic income is the key to adjust the livelihood strategy, and going out for employment is the main way to transfer the rural surplus labor force in Huangling county at present.
