Abstract:
On the 60th anniversary of Journal of Shaanxi Normal University(Natural Science Edition) in 2020,the important periodical data including the number of published articles, article source distribution, received attention and the periodical influence from 2011 to 2020 have been sorted out,and the main periodical running measures were demonstrated in this paper,so as to summarize the development course of the journal,express gratitude to authors, reviewers, and editors who have contributed to the development of the journal, and better serve national first-class periodical construction and the discipline construction. Statistical data showed that a total of 1 167 papers were published in Journal of Shaanxi Normal University(Natural Science Edition) from 2011 to 2020, mainly focusing on Mathematics and Computer Science, Physics, Resource and Environmental Sciences, Life Science, Chemistry and Materials Sciences. The average annual contribution rate of intra-university manuscripts was 31.6%~86.2%. The total citation frequency of the journal kept stable, and the impact factor increased with fluctuation. In 2019, the journal was funded by the echelon periodical project of the “Chinese Scientific Journals Excellence Action Plan” for a period of 5 years. It has also been awarded with “100 Outstanding Academic Journals of China in 2013”“Excellent Scientific and Technological Journals of Chinese Universities”“Top 100 Scientific and Technological Journals of Chinese Universities”. For the periodical running measures, monograph articles were implemented,acquisition mechanisms were innovated,the publishing process and pattern were changed, and the speed, breadth, depth and accuracy of propagation were improved. On these basis, the publishing content has been transformed from subject synthesis to problem synthesis, the organization pattern has been transformed from disciplines to topics, and the publishing mode has been transformed from paper publication priority to internet publication priority, thus the periodical running ability has been comprehensively improved.
