Abstract:
Aminomodified spherical mesoporous silica (SiO2NH2) was prepared by changing the amount of APTES (3Aminopropyltriethoxysilane),and the optimum preparation conditions were explored. The results of XRD and TEM showed that the spherical mesoporous silica in an average diameter of 5.0 nm is of wormlike mesoporous structure with good monodispersion. Elemental analysis showed that the aminomodified effect is the best when the amount of APTES is 1 mL(SiO2NH2(1.0)).The prepared SiO2NH2 as an adsorbent for the adsorption of Pd2+ and the regeneration of the adsorbent were investigated. The experiment results showed the adsorption efficiency reaches 71% with the mass loss of only 7.3% after five cyclic adsorptions. The modified spherical mesoporous silica with good absorbability, reproducibility, eroding resistion and easyhandle of operation may have significant applicability as a reusable adsorbent.
