Abstract:
Taking 16 states and cities in Yunnan Province as the research unit, and using the quantitative research methods of the standard deviation, coefficient of variation, gradient and Tell index reflecting tourism economy development level, the regional tourism economic development in Yunnan province from 2000 to 2016 in differences feature and evolution tendency are analyzed. The study found that both domestic and inbound tourism economy of Yunnan Province showed a trend of increasing absolute differences and decreasing relative differences. The differences in the domestic and inbound tourism economic zones are generally in the downward trend, and the differences in the southern Yunnan, central and East Yunnan are the main reasons for the differences. The phenomenon of ‘converging club’ in the development of domestic tourism economy is obvious, the ‘polarization effect’ of the economic development of inbound tourism is remarkable, and the development of domestic and inbound tourism economic development has experienced the evolution process from ‘bipolar core’ to ‘multi pole core’. The main factors affecting the economic development differences between the provincial local cities are tourism resources endowment, traffic accessibility and tourism service facilities, and the differences in economic development of inbound tourism are greatly influenced by tourism resource endowment and tourism service facilities, traffic accessibility and regional economic development level on inbound tourism economy. The influence of development difference change is not significant.
