Abstract:
Based on sound scattering theory, the expression of acoustic radiation force for a fluid cylindrical particle immersed in water with obliquely incident plane wave was derived. The effects of incidence angle on acoustic radiation force of the particle with different materials were studied by numercal simulation. Simulation results show that the angle of incidence has no influence on acoustic radiation force for small values of ka when the angle of incidence is small. However, the values of acoustic radiation force decrease with the increase of the angle of incident as ka>2.When the angle of incidence tends to the critical angle of longitudinal wave, the changing law of the acoustic radiation force function for different particle is almost same with each other.
