Abstract:
For cutting forming parts, an efficient method of ultrasonic vibration assisted face-turning(UVAT) is proposed, which serves to obtain the surface micro texture as soon as the workpiece is completed. Based on the aluminum alloy material, the theoretical model representing the surface morphology of micro texture is outlined, and the simulation of surface micro texture morphology is achieved. The simulation results of micro texture element size and the experiment outcomes are compared, verify the correctness of the simulation model. The influences of processing parameters on the geometric morphology of micro texture are analyzed, and the specific algorithm for the size of the micro texture unit and the algorithm of arranging the micro texture unit on the workpiece surface are given, which provide the basis for the optimization of the geometric parameters of the surface micro texture.
