Abstract:
Based on the characteristics of phase transfer entropy in dynamic signal analysis, the ECG signals of different age groups, normal and abnormal ECG signals are analyzed respectively. Simulation results show that the values of phase transfer entropy for the ECG signals of a healthy people change little with the length of the sample. The values of the phase transfer entropy for a healthy people are increasing with ages when their age ranges from 20 to 30 years old, while they are gradually decreasing after 40 years old. The overall distribution of the phase transfer entropy for healthy people is greater than that of non-healthy people. Moreover, the ECG signals of healthy people, malignant ventricular arrhythmia patients and patients with atrial fibrillation can be effectively distinguished by phase transfer entropy.
