Abstract:
Taking Xi′an typical communities as the case study, through questionnaire survey and field investigation, and using the method of semantic differential, independent sample T-test and multivariable linear regression model, the living environment perception of new urban poverty groups with different household registers were analyzed, and its determinants were compared. The results showed that the living environment perception on each index of the non-local household poverty groups is lower than that of the local household poverty groups, among which nine indexes were significantly lower. The determinants of living environment perception of new urban poverty groups with different household registrations were consistent and different. The living environment, housing condition and natural environment of the community have significant impacts on the living environment of he local household poverty groups, and the social environment and commuting conditions are not obvious. By contrast, in addition to the living environment and the natural environment of the community, social environment and commuting condition also have significant impacts on the living environment of the non-local household poverty groups, while the housing conditions has little influence.
