方形劈裂环-方形环结构中磁法诺共振的产生及操控

摘要:
基于有限元方法(finite element method, FEM)和等离激元杂化理论(plasmon hybridization theory, PHT)模拟并分析了方形劈裂环-方形环(square spilt ring-square ring,SSR-SR)在可见光区域内的光学特性。结果表明:方形外劈裂环的亮态模式与方形内环的暗态模式相耦合,导致SSR-SR结构获得磁法诺共振,并且法诺线形可以通过改变结构的几何参数进行调控。SSR-SR结构对周围环境折射率非常敏感,计算结果显示该结构的折射率敏感度和品质因子(figure of merit, FOM)分别为1 650 nm/RIU和26.02。

Abstract:
The optical property of the square spilt ring-square ring (SSR-SR) is simulated and analyzed by finite element method (FEM) and plasmon hybridization theory (PHT) in the range of visual light. The simulated results show that the bright modes of the spilt square ring couple with the dark modes of the square ring, which leading to magnetic Fano resonance. The linetype of the magnetic Fano resonance can be manipulated by changing the geometry parameters of the nanostructure. Furthermore, the SSR-SR structure is very sensitive to the surrounding environment refractive index. The calculated result exhibits that the maximum refractive index sensitivity exceeds 1 650 nm/RIU and the maximum figure of merit (FOM) reaches 26.02.
