巨幅历史照片卷曲病害的治理研究

摘要:
采用聚乙二醇600、水性环氧B-63和羟乙基纤维素组成的柔韧剂对巨幅历史照片卷曲、折条及断裂等病害及治理情况进行了研究。通过对处理前后明胶膜的偏光显微镜、扫描电镜、X-射线衍射仪、热重和差式扫描量热仪等图谱进行分析,揭示了柔韧剂对照片的增韧机理。对柔韧剂处理前后模拟试样的柔软度、耐折度、抗张强度、撕裂度、色差等测试发现,照片的整体性能都有所提升。这说明该柔韧剂有望在治理巨幅历史照片的卷曲等病害应用中发挥重要作用。

Abstract:
A flexibilizer, the composing of polyethylene glycol 600,aqueous epoxy (B-63) and hydroxyethyl cellulose, used to restore huge historic photos with curl and fold has been investigated. The mechanism on the action of the flexibilizer in the restoration was studied by using polarization microscope, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffractometer, thermogravimetric analysis and differential scanning calorimetry. The results indicate that the performances including flexibility, folding strength, tensile strength, tearing strength and chromatic aberration for the restored photos are improved. This flexibilizer possesses important application value in restoration of curled huge historic photos.
