Abstract:
The PVP/Silica/Ru (bpy)2+3 nanoparticles were synthesized, which show different affinities for single and double-stranded DNA.It was found that changes of DNAzyme structure induced by Pb(Ⅱ) resulted in the change in electrochemiluminesence properties of nanoparticles in the Nafion/carbon nanotubes modified electrode. Based on this finding, a new electrochemiluminesence method for detecting Pb(Ⅱ) was developed. The method is a label-free DNA probe, no immobilized DNAzyme, and high sensitivity, etc. Under the optimal experimental conditions, this new electrochemiluminescence approach for Pb(Ⅱ) presented a detection limit of 0.5 nmol/L, and was successfully applied for detecting Pb(Ⅱ) in water samples.
