Calculation of rural residential area consolidation potentiality in hilly area:a case study of Xunyang county of Shaanxi province

Abstract:
Rural residential land consolidation of hilly area is an important part of rural land consolidation. Based on the average standard method of construction land, the theoretical potential of rural residential land consolidation in Xunyang county of Shaanxi province was estimated.The natural,economic,social factors were selected to construct the corrected index system, and the cultivated land potential and land exploitation potential were calculated by using the corrected coefficients. Finally,zoning of rural residential land consolidation was obtained. The results show the theoretical potential of the Xunyang county is 225.414 hm2. The corrected coefficient of land potential is 0.267~0.810, and the cultivated land potential is 124.168 hm2. The corrected coefficient of land exploitation potential is 0.305~0.810, and land exploitation potential is 73.896 hm2. There are 4 areas in the primary potential area,and the land exploitation potential is 40.988 hm2. The secondary potential area also has 4 regions with the land exploitation potential 15.49 hm2. The rest belong to the third potential area with the land exploitation potential of 17.419 hm2.The land consolidation potential of rural residential area is affected primarily by natural factors,and secondary by the social and economic factors.
