Abstract:
Star-shaped molecule of carbazole binding pyrene was synthesized via bromination and amination reactions of carbazole and pyrene. The porous organic framework, which has good thermal stability and higher BET area, was formed through oxidative coupling polymerization catalyzed by FeCl3. The adsorption isotherms show that its hydrogen storage capacity can reach up to 9.99 mmol/g (100 kPa, 77 K) and the uptake for carbon dioxide is up to 3.10 mmol/g (100 kPa, 273 K).
