Abstract:
Headspace-solid phase microextraction (HS-SPME) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS) were used to analyze the composition of estrous urine of male and female Eutamias sibiricus, 35 of them were putatively identified, and mainly contained esters, alcohols, phenols, ketones, aldehydes, nitrogen compounds, sulfur compounds, and olefins substances, etc. The results showed that all the compounds detected were shared by males and females, but the levels of each one was different. Among them, 2,5-Dimethylpyrazine, 4-Methylphenol, 4-Ethylphenol showed significant sexual difference. Thus, these compounds might be pheromone in Eutamias sibiricus, and play some roles in sex attractiveness.
