非对称金纳米条三聚体中的等离激元诱导透明

摘要:
基于纳米条三聚体微元结构,利用有限元方法研究了等离激元诱导透明(plasmon induced transparency, PIT)现象产生的物理机理。研究发现三聚体的吸收谱线随着对称性的改变而展现出可调谐性。三聚体纳米结构等离激元所产生的诱导透明现象源自竖直的纳米条和平行的双长条相互耦合,且对平行的双长条的对称性具有依赖性。竖直长条的偶极明模在平行双长条的四极暗模间接作用下产生分裂。结果表明:在此系统中PIT现象的产生机理是竖直长条偶极明模式分裂后的相干叠加。通过改变结构的对称性来实现对等离激元诱导窗口的调节,这将有助于在超材料中设计光开关、慢光装置等。

Abstract:
Based on nanostripe trimer, the physical mechanism of plasmon induced transparency (PIT) is investigated by finite element methed(FEM). It has been discovered that the absorption of the trimer shows tunable property as a function of symmetry. The PIT of trimer originates from the coupling between the vertical stripe and parallel double stripes, and depends on the symmetry of parallel double stripes. The dipole bright mode is split under the action of dark mode of parallel double stripes. In this system, the PIT stems from the coherent superposition between split modes of dipole bright mode of the vertical stripe. Plasmon induced transparency window can be adjusted by changing symmetry of parallel double stripes, which contribute to design optical switching, slow light device.
