Abstract:
To construct electrochemical detection toxicity of chemicals in water using ferricyanide as a probe, the toxicity of chemicals in different wastewater including laboratory wastewater, and poison of 3,5-dichlorophenol (DCP), pesticide ethirimol, herbicide five cyanide alachlor were determined by polyvinyl alcohol-alginate-activated carbon immobilized E. coli. The following optimal experimental conditions were obtained. The quality score of sodium alginate and activated carbon additive are 1%, amount of cross-linking agent CaCl2 is 2%. The order in the respiratory depression effect of toxicants on the microorganisms immobilized on particle are as following, DCP > ethirimol > five cyanide alachlor > laboratory waste, inhibition rate range of 30.23%~55.35%, 25.14%~46.23%, 20.12 %~38.33%~27.89% and 5.74%, respectively, and the sensitivity was significantly better than that treated by the PVA-SA immobilized E.coli.
