Abstract:
The radial vibration of piezoelectric ceramic composite disk transformer is studied. The piezoelectric transformer is composed of three concentric piezoelectric ceramic disk, metal ring, and piezoelectric ceramic ring. Based on the electro-mechanical equivalent theory, the electro-mechanical equivalent of the piezoelectric transformer, input impedance, the resonance frequency equation, anti-resonance frequency equation and the equation of transformer ratio are obtained. The dependency of the frequency and effective electro-mechanical coupling coefficient on the geometrical dimensions are obtained by using the analytical and numerical methods. The influence of load on frequency, effective electro-mechanical coupling coefficient, transformer ratio on the piezoelectric ceramic transformer are analyzed. It is shown as the increase of ratio of wall thickness, the resonance frequency and anti-resonance frequency increase and the effective electro-mechanial coupling coefficient decreases. The frequency and transformer ratio are all increased with the load increasing, but the effective electro-mechanial coupling coefficient is decreased with the load.
