Abstract:
Taking Qujiang new area as a case study, picking up the indicators of Xi′an city urbanization and the three typical indicators of culture industry, tourism industry and real estate industry in Qujiang new area from 2000 to 2011,with the method of principal component analysis and path analytical method, the influence of three typical industries in Qujiang new area to the urbanization process of Xi′an city was demonstrated. The results indicate that firstly, the industries of culture, tourism and real estate have effect on the urbanization process indeed, and the real estate industry plays the most important role. Secondly, in the indicators of culture industry, the added value has direct influence on the urbanization process of Xi′an city, and the number of the staff, the expenditure on education and culture products of citizens has indirect impact on urbanization process. Thirdly, the proportion of added value in tourism industry and the number of employee drive the urbanization process directly, and the number of tourists and tourism company, the tourism income play the indirect role in the urbanization process. Finally, in the indicator of real estate, the index of added value in real estate industry and the number of employee have direct impact on the urbanization process.
